Order book card for the Fed's October 2026 decision, with the cost of a $5,000 buy: 25,000 shares at 20 cents, a $200 taker fee and a breakeven of 20.8 cents.
“Thinking of putting $5k on a Fed hike in October. What would I actually end up paying?” The assistant walked the live book: 25,000 shares at 20¢, $200 in fees, so it only pays off above 20.8%. Shown as it renders in Claude.

[ What you can ask ]

Ask the way a trader thinks.

Paste a polymarket.com link or just name the market. Your assistant picks the tools; you get numbers, not a summary of a web page.

“Before I buy Yes on the Fed market: what actually decides it? The title isn't the rules, right?”

pm_search → pm_market

The rules come back verbatim with their named source, next to where resolution stands: not proposed, proposed and inside its challenge window, disputed, or resolved. For multi-outcome events you also see whether the prices add up to 100¢.

Market brief card: price, 30-day chart, bid and ask, resolution status, all outcomes of the event and the rules verbatim.

[ Connect ]

One URL. Any AI that speaks MCP.

It's a standard remote MCP server with no sign-in, so anything that can add one by URL can use it. Pick yours.

https://mcp.lacuna.markets/mcp
  1. In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector and paste the URL. There's no sign-in step.
  3. Ask about any market. Market, order book, trading and wallet answers render as interactive cards.

[ Pro, coming ]

Free stays free. Pro is for people who trade every day.

The tools stay free. We're building a paid tier on top for active traders, and the people on the early list shape it. What we're working on:

  • Watch your wallet and get a plain-language note when a position moves, with the trades behind it.
  • A morning brief of your markets: what changed, what resolves soon, what got proposed.
  • Longer history and higher limits.

[ Questions ]

Short answers.

Is it really free?

Yes. The server is free and needs no account. Accounts are only for the coming Pro tier.

Which AI apps does it work with?

Any client that can add a remote MCP server by URL: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT (developer mode), Hermes, OpenClaw, Cursor and others. The interactive cards show up in clients that support MCP Apps, such as Claude; everywhere else you get the same data as text.

Can it trade for me?

No. Every tool is read-only and works on public data. It can't place orders, move funds or connect to your Polymarket account.

Where does the data come from?

Polymarket's public APIs, cached for 10 seconds to 5 minutes. Answers can lag the live site by that much.

What about Kalshi?

Not yet. Kalshi's developer terms limit API data to a member's own trading, so it isn't included.

Is this investment advice?

No. It's market data and arithmetic. What you do with it is up to you.
