Short version
Lacuna runs two things: the Prediction Market Intelligence MCP server, which works with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI clients and needs no account, and accounts on lacuna.markets for the coming Pro tier. We keep the least we can, never sell or share data, and set no tracking or advertising cookies.
The MCP server (mcp.lacuna.markets)
- It receives the tool calls your AI assistant makes for you (for example a search phrase, a market link or a public wallet address) and standard connection data such as your IP address.
- Inputs are used only to fetch the matching public data from Polymarket and format the answer. Requests to Polymarket come from our servers; your IP address is not passed on.
- Polymarket responses are cached for 10 seconds to 5 minutes. The cache holds market data, not information about who asked.
- Your IP address is held in memory for a few minutes to limit request rates and is not written to disk or to logs.
- Operational logs record which tool ran, how long it took and whether it succeeded. They don't record your inputs or IP address.
Accounts (lacuna.markets)
- When you create an account we store your email address, your name if Google provides it, the identifier Google gives us for your account if you sign in with Google, your plan, and when you signed up and last signed in.
- Sign-in uses a session cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. We store only a hash of it. Emailed sign-in links work once, expire after 15 minutes, and are also stored only as hashes.
- With Google sign-in we ask only for your basic profile and email address. We never see your Google password and get no access to your Gmail, Drive or anything else.
- We use your email to sign you in and to tell you when Pro opens. No newsletters, no sharing.
- To delete your account and everything stored with it, email support@lacuna.markets from the same address.
Service providers
Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, the MCP server and the account database, sends sign-in emails, and runs Turnstile, a privacy-preserving check on the sign-in form that tells people from bots (Cloudflare privacy policy). Google provides sign-in with Google. Market data comes from Polymarket's public APIs.
What we don't do
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal data.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- No access to your Polymarket account, keys or funds. Wallet lookups read public on-chain positions only.
